		<description>I think the idea of a detector license is a great one. The fact is that by hunting for treasure to dig up and sell, you remove it from its context, and lose massive amounts of information that could have been gathered about it.

I know I&#039;m not going to convince anyone to stop looking, but if you find anything, the best thing you can do is to inform any local archaeologists, so they can at least get some idea of the find&#039;s significance, get a *much* better chance of dating it accurately, and be able to tell you who dropped it and sometimes why.</description>
